Privacy policy
Solidmade is a trade name of HireThomas, Inc., 1111B S Governors Ave Suite 90226, Dover, DE 19904, United States ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you contact us or buy from us, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- What you send us: your name, email address, business name, website links, screenshots and the details of the work you want done.
- Access you choose to give us for a job, such as a staff account on your store or site. We use it only for that job.
- Payment details. Upwork clients pay through Upwork, which collects and processes the payment, so we never see your card or bank details. We see the payment status on the Upwork contract.
- Basic technical data our hosting provider logs when you visit this site, such as IP address and browser type. This site uses no cookies and no analytics.
How we use it
To reply to you, scope and price the work, do the work, take payment, keep business and tax records, and protect against fraud. We don't sell your information and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run the business: the marketplace that handles your payment (Upwork, for Upwork clients), email provider, website hosting, and the software and cloud tools we use to do the work. They may only use your information to provide their service to us. We may also share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and job records for as long as we need them for the work and for our legal, tax and accounting obligations. We remove access you gave us for a job (or ask you to) once the job is done.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you by sending us a message in the Upwork chat or through our Upwork agency profile. If you don't want to hear from us again, say so and we won't write again.
